Live Fly running.
The complete connectome of a fruit fly's brain, mapped from a real Drosophila, runs on a GPU and drives bodies. Today it pilots a virtual fly, and a Crazyflie drone in simulation. Soon, a physical drone in a room.
read moreA small studio. Three projects in motion. We build software where living systems and learning machines are the protagonists, not the audience.
Most AI today narrates over a world. We are interested in the opposite: a fly's brain that flies a drone because that is what it is for; a game whose rules an AI rewrites in the engine's own scripting language while you play; a research engine that asks its own next question.
The work runs at the seam between hand-crafted systems and learning ones. Symbolic where it should be cheap and exact, neural where it should be inventive. We build engines. The stories told with them are yours.

read moreA neurosymbolic game engine. A small fuzzy utility-AI core runs every entity's behavior, cheap and deterministic. An LLM authors into that core at runtime, writing new behaviors in the engine's own scripting language. What it writes keeps running, every tick, after the chat session ends.
read moreAn automated science engine. The loop of hypothesis, experiment, and synthesis run as a system rather than a paper trail. In active development.
